General terms of use

These terms govern the use of Embaucheo (the "Service"), which is provided free of charge. By using the Service, you accept them. They are governed by Swiss law.

These terms form the contract between you and the publisher of Embaucheo. Acceptance takes place upon the creation of an account or the use of the Service. The Service is reserved for persons aged 16 or over.

The Service is a CV builder and job-application assistant, provided free of charge: creation, editing and PDF export of CVs without a watermark, plus assistance features (including AI) depending on the enabled modules.

Some features are modules that the publisher may enable or disable. AI features are subject to fair-use limits (quotas) shown in the Service.

Creating a CV is possible without an account (a draft linked to your browser). Logging in is done without a password, via a magic link sent by e-mail. On login, an anonymous draft is attached to your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account area: deletion becomes permanent after a 30-day grace period (signing in again within that period cancels it). An anonymous draft is purged after 14 days of inactivity.

You undertake to make personal and lawful use of the Service, not to disrupt it, not to publish unlawful content on it, and to provide accurate information about yourself. Third-party data you enter (references, letter recipients, content of job postings) remains your responsibility: you warrant that you are entitled to use it. If you publish a CV via a public link, you are responsible for the content thus made accessible; the publisher may unpublish a CV in the event of abuse.

The AI features provide assistance (suggestions, analyses). They guarantee neither the obtaining of a job nor the accuracy of the generated content. You are responsible for the proofreading and final validation of your CV and your applications. The processing by the AI sub-processor is described in the privacy policy.

You remain the owner of the content and CVs you create. You grant the publisher a limited licence, strictly necessary for the provision of the Service (storage, display, PDF generation). The publisher retains all rights to the Service, its templates and its trademark.

The Service is provided without any guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions (maintenance, incidents) may occur.

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, the publisher excludes any warranty beyond what the law provides (art. 197 et seq. CO). Liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct cannot be excluded (art. 100 para. 1 CO). Otherwise, the publisher's liability for a service provided free of charge is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The publisher may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms or of abusive use.

This applies in particular to: an invalid, temporary or disposable ("junk") email address; spam or abusive use of the service; inappropriate or unlawful content; a duplicate account. Where the associated address allows it, an informational email is sent to the account holder. Depending on the reason, the deletion is either reversible for 30 days — the holder may then request that their account be restored — or immediate and definitive, erasing the data with no possible recovery.

In the event of deletion for spam or abusive use, the publisher may furthermore permanently refuse any re-registration with the same email address.

The publisher may amend these terms. Changes are published on this page, with their update date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The place of jurisdiction is the publisher's domicile or registered office in Switzerland, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction, in particular the place of jurisdiction at the consumer's domicile (art. 32/35 CPC).
